Properties

CEWELD ERTi-5 Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) combines excellent weldability with very high mechanical strength and can be further optimized through heat treatment to achieve higher strength or toughness.

Its corrosion resistance is comparable to Grade 2, while offering significantly superior mechanical properties. This makes the alloy particularly suitable for applications where both strength and corrosion resistance are critical.

The weld metal is ductile and provides excellent resistance to corrosion in oxidizing environments. The unique combination of high strength, low weight, and corrosion resistance makes Grade 5 a preferred material for demanding applications where reliability and long service life are essential.

The welding wire undergoes a specialized cleaning process to ensure a high-quality weld deposit with minimal risk of porosity and optimal ductility of the weld.
