CEWELD ERTi-1 is the purest and lowest strength unalloyed titanium grade. This grade is used in applications where maximum formability and ductility are required.
Typical applications include explosive cladding, loose linings, expanded metal constructions, and deep drawing applications.
In addition, Grade 1 is widely used in electrochemical applications such as coated anode substrates for the production of chlorine and sodium chlorate.

The weld metal of CEWELD ERTi-1 is highly ductile and offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in oxidizing environments.
Due to its high purity and outstanding corrosion resistance, this alloy is a preferred choice for applications where corrosion issues must be prevented or resolved.
The welding wire undergoes a special cleaning process to ensure a high-quality weld deposit with very low porosity, optimal ductility, and reliable corrosion resistance.
