CEWELD Alloy C276 is designed for welding materials with a similar chemical composition. This low-carbon nickel-chromium-molybdenum filler metal is also suitable for dissimilar welding between nickel-based alloys and stainless steels.

In addition, CEWELD Alloy C276 can be used for surfacing and cladding applications on low-alloy steels, where high corrosion resistance and reliable performance under severe operating conditions are required.

Properties

Due to its high molybdenum content, CEWELD Alloy C276 provides excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion.

The weld metal combines high mechanical properties with excellent welding characteristics, ensuring reliable weld performance even in highly corrosive environments.
