Properties

Excellent welding characteristics with a fully austenitic weld metal providing high resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion in chloride-containing environments.

The combination of nickel (Ni), molybdenum (Mo) and copper (Cu) provides excellent resistance to reducing acids. In addition, the weld metal offers good resistance to oxidizing acids and maintains its corrosion resistance in seawater environments.

CEWELD Alloy 825 provides reliable weld performance with excellent corrosion resistance for demanding industrial applications.
