VAUTID Ultra I

Brand
Ceweld product
Type
NiCrBSi based SMAW electrode filled with tungsten carbides for extreme wear resistant overlays.
classification
EN ISO
14700: E Ni20
Applications

CEWELD® E DUR RU (Ni) can be surfaced on all types of steels except cast iron or Mn steel. This alloy is the most wear resistant grade for most hardfacing applications. With very fine dust abrasion, the matrix may be washed out and lose the embedded tungsten carbides, in which case another hardfacing product should be considered.
The main areas of application are the coating and rebuilding of stabilizers and other oilfield tools where maximum protection is required. Also for screws, impellers, mixer plates in the brick and clay industry and on decanter screws in the food and chemical industry where corrosion resistance is required.

Properties

CEWELD®E DUR RU (Ni) is a coated cored wire tube for electrofusion welding, a hardfacing product consisting of crushed tungsten carbide and a Ni-based alloy. The crushed tungsten carbide guarantees a long service life. In addition, the Ni-based alloy offers excellent corrosion resistance. CEWELD®E DUR RU (Ni) has excellent welding and wetting properties at very low currents. It is easy to handle and inexperienced welders will have no difficulty in producing smooth deposits without cracking. Multi-layer build-ups are possible and worn parts can be restored without removing the old material. CEWELD®E DUR RU (Ni) can be used on all types of steel except cast iron or Mn steel.
