CEWELD Titanium Grade 7 is used in applications where excellent corrosion resistance combined with a high strength-to-weight ratio is required.
The alloy is widely used in the aerospace industry due to its favorable balance between weight and mechanical properties. In addition, Grade 7 is applied in the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in heat exchangers, piping systems, and valves, where reliable performance in corrosive environments is essential.

Titanium Grade 7 contains an addition of 0.12–0.25% palladium (Pd), which provides significantly improved corrosion resistance compared to Grade 2. The mechanical properties are comparable to those of Grade 2.
The weld metal is highly ductile and offers excellent resistance to corrosion, particularly in oxidizing environments. The combination of mechanical strength, low density, and outstanding corrosion resistance makes this alloy highly suitable for critical applications where reliability is essential.
The welding wire is produced and specially cleaned through a controlled process to ensure a high-quality weld deposit with low porosity, excellent ductility, and optimal corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
